What is Powder Coating?
Powder Coating is an advanced method of applying decorative and protective finish to materials and products. The powder is a mixture of finely ground particles of pigment and resin, which adhere to an electrically grounded surface until heated and fused into a smooth coating. The result is a uniform, durable, high-quality and attractive finish. Powder Coating is the fastest-growing finishing technology in North America, representing over 10% of all industrial finishing applications.
Durable - Protects the Environment - Saves Money
Powder coated surfaces are more resistant to chipping, fading and wearing. The color selection is virtually unlimited, including high and low gloss, metallic and clear finishes. Colors stay more brighter and vibrant longer.
Powder coating contains no solvents and releases negligible amounts, if any, of VOCs (volatile organic compounds) into the atmosphere.
You no longer need to buy expensive pollution control equipment thus saving you money and enabling you to comply more easily with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regulations.

While college students from the University of Florida were soaking up the summer sun - or doing whatever college students do over the summer break - A.M. Metal had a part in sprucing up their band shell!
These hand-railings were processed with clear anodizing of an architectural quality and delivered and installed at the renovated Flavet field band shell. The old venue was a converted Howard Johnson’s roof that had to be closed a few years ago.
On August 31st, the first of many concerts was held featuring Citizen Cope. The turn out for the free concert was great. The campus is expecting to host many more concerts at the band shell.

Many serialized gun receivers are anodized, and they are being done illegally. A.M. Metal Finishing, Inc. offers gun manufacturers a legal avenue to have gun parts finished to the highest of standards AND within the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) regulations.
A.M. Metal's Firearms License allows us to:

- ship weapons within the state and across state lines
